Two of my children graduated from KIPP and have attended KIPP schools since they opened their doors in San Antonio at the original KIPP on Fredericksburg Road. We moved and we now live in Denver Colorado and my kids attend KIPP Colorado. It's the best education out there, charter schools are the way to go. Yes it is a hard curriculum definitely not for those who are not going to be dedicated in school. If u want a school that's easy go to public school this isn't for kids who are lazy or undisciplined. I know it sounds mean but it's life y'all. My kids made it no excuses

Proud to say my kids have attended KIPP and graduated successfully. My younger kids are also in the KIPP system. We wouldn't have it any other way! A

This school is way different than any other school in San Antonio. Yes , it may be helpful for wanting to achieve success as in making it to college. However , this school doesn’t teach its students how to make it through college. I was a junior here last year. But I left because IB is not only a program , but a source in which gives their students a high amount of stress and a feeling of failure. The principal’s here say IB will help you entirely by making it to college. But they are not providing their student’s thoughts on what they feel about the program. Everyone hates it. Not only does it stress you out, but also takes away majority of your free time. Especially on breaks such as Winter, Spring , Summer Break...etc. So yeah parents think twice and ask your student if they enjoy Kipp. Plus the food is very unpleasant.
