Kirk and Crane are enrolled with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), and have been since 1969. The NICEIC is a consumer safety organisation set up to protect against unsafe and unsound electrical installations. It is the independent regulatory body for the electrical industry. The NICEIC approves contractors engaged in a wide range of installation work. The inspection and testing of portable and transportable electrical equipment is also covered. All electrical work carried out by Kirk and Crane, as an approved contractor, complies with the requirements of BS7671 and the NICEIC codes of practice.
