Our two kids have been at La Petite since they were 5 months old. Our daughter is now 6 and our son is 4. In all that time they have never complained about going to school. They like their friends and teachers and all the fun activities. The Director, Megan Price, and teachers are very caring and know each child well. They do a good job of facilitating positive interactions throughout the day and keeping everyone safe. The school has been open throughout the pandemic and has made an extra efforts to keep everything clean and to provide additional educational opportunities for the school age children. Overall we are very happy with this school. What would make it a 5 star review for us are more extracurricular opportunities such as Spanish, dance, and music classes (which have been offered at times based on parent interest) as well as organic foods and a stronger recycling program but these are truly personal preferences. Overall, it's a solid daycare/school with lovely teachers and we are very grateful to have them as part of our extended family

Our family has been at La Petite Academy in Kirkland since 2014. We have consistently been happy with the education and care our children receive, especially so since 2018 with the current director and leadership. The platforms used to communicate with parents are very effective and we always know what is going on at the school and with our kids. The activities planned for our children are inventive and engaging, even during the challenges posed by the 2020 year. Teachers have worked to create a wonderful summer camp experience for our kids focused on science, social studies, physical education and building. We couldn’t be more grateful for our community at La Petite.

Both of my kids have been going to La Petite for 3 years. From the first day I dropped them off, I knew it was a great place full of amazing, caring people! I have nothing but great things to say about this facility and their staff. They are truly dedicated to the safety, well being, and educational/social growth of every child. I would recommend them to everyone! Thank you for being wonderful!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school! Our daughter (now 3.5 years)has attended La Petite of Kirkland since she was 8 months old. We made sure to get a spot in the infant room for our son (now 15 months) as soon as we found out we were pregnant with him. The director and staff here are so professional and helpful and show on a daily basis how much they care for our children. Any time we’ve had concerns or needed advice to provide consistency between home and school, they are willing to meet and discuss so that we can be a team for our kids. From when our daughter was a biter, to when our son needed more motor skills support, to support during COVID, La Petite always steps up to the plate and does an amazing job. Our kids are thriving in this school. As a kindergarten teacher myself, I appreciate how they do an incredible job of getting kids ready for grade school with a focus on social emotional education and academics. It’s not a kinder-prep boot camp, kindergarten is my job, but they teach children the social emotions skills they need to be ready for grade school environments. We love La Petite!

The people at La Petite have always been amazingly kind to my family. Everyone at the center knows every kid by name, and they always greet the families with a giant smile and upbeat attitude. Their summer camp was so much fun for our son last year that we didn't hesitate to send him back this summer (though Covid understandably eliminated the frequent field trips, he is still having a blast).
