Where to begin. On Monday (July 23rd) I took 3 pairs of shoes to them. 2 were work pumps that needed the tips of the heels replaced and 1 (riding style boots) needed the thin,rubber portion of the heel replaced. The work shoes took until August 9th!! And this was after being told they would be done by Aug 1st (they were not), then Aug 5th (not done either). When I arrived to pick up the shoes, they could not find them (this happened every previous time as well). Finally they found 1 shoe of each of the pairs it took in. However, because she couldn't find the matching shoe she questioned if I had only taken 1 shoe of each pair. After quite a while of searching and a heated discussion, both pairs were found. As for the boots, all I can say is that they are "wearable" but, they are not done properly. There is a "gap" on one side of the shoe between the actual heel and the new rubber sole of the heel.

I gave them my shoes for re-soleing telling them that I'd be back in a week to pick them up. I then went there a week later but my shoes weren't ready. I received no call from them to inform me that they weren't ready. ( You leave your phone number with them when you deposit your shoes). They then said they would call me the next day, but I received no phone call. I then called them the next week several times but no one picked up the phone. I was almost a month later, when I finally got through and they said they were ready. The work was good, but the professionalism was poor. Would not use again unless they are the only shop in town.
I was greeted with a smile by 3 different people gave a very fair price to fix my boots and they were repaired in the time period given! Great quality of work and saved my old/new boots I love! Thank you!

I have been going there for years! One of the best, and yes sometimes it is difficult to get your stuff on time, that is because he is good and he is busy.. works out of his garage. One of the very few old time shoemakers! I adore them.. got my vote!!!
Great customer service and workmanship. Brought a pair of boots to him after being referred by another shoe repair shop that could not fix my zipper. Not only did the owner repair my boot in 2 minutes, he did not charge me for it. I tried to tip him and he would not take that either because of the time it took him to fix it. Very friendly, and seems to value his customers, unlike the prior shop that I used to take my shoes and boots to. Needless to say, he has a new customer!
I keep coming back, because he's taken care of my 50 year old motorcycle boots and 12 year old riding shoes keeping them as good as new ever since I retired to here in 1995.
