Help now saved my life and my children from a very abusive marriage. I am years later remarried and happy, safe and kids and doing great. Im so blessed. Thank you help now. You saved my life and gave me life.
Everyone here was very helpful for the situation that I was going through. I would recommend this place to any woman going through a traumatic time in their life. Specifically domestic violence or stalking.
Best place for DV help and amazing staff. Change our lives! Highly recommended
This place sucks and is very disgusting. You have nasty dishes everywhere, clothes stacked up in the laundry room, kids running around dirty and the parents aren’t watching them. Companies and individuals would donate to the residents and the staff doesn’t want to give the residents anything. You’ll see the staff leave with donated items all the time or they’ll call the Salvation Army to pick up some of the items. These people don’t try to help domestic violence survivors in the shelters. Some of the women would rather go back to their abuser than to feel unsafe and uncared for by these staff members. I’ve heard staff members tell residents they don’t care and this is just a paycheck. I’ve never endured anything like this in my life. Department of health needs to do an inspection and I guarantee you that they’ll shut this place down because some days this place isn’t livable. I’m happy I’ve been gone and I have my place but I feel sorry for anyone in there who doesn’t have any options. Please whoever funds this program please look deeply into the programs you serve and provide funds for because they aren’t helping an already bad situation.
