As of 2019, a chaotic avenue buzzing with various goods, services, commuter transport activities, touting, and spontaneous urban-life movements. The bus station for Kitale town is currently temporarily situated here, and so there is no shortage of hyper-activity, quite similar to most termini in Kenya's small towns. Buildings and spaces here are single storey, frontal facing, but with multiple, varied, uncoordinated uses. Infrastracture is inadequate (for example the sidewalk is used for vehicle docking, sewer is open, power lines all over the place). Quite physically unsafe for almost all users, the most vulnerable being the aged, physically challenged, and new visitors to the town). Insufficient public seating and trash containers. Busy all week with exception of Sundays.
