Amazing! You know it's an authentic banh mi Vietnamese sandwich shop when they have advertisements for income tax services posted in the window. Definitely a hole in the wall, but that's also where the beauty lies. Just a simple take out stripped down menu at unbeatable prices. These guys do one thing and do it exceptionally well, and that makes it our favourite banh mi shop. Seasoning, buns and main ingredients fresh and in perfect balance. You have to wait while they put it all together for you, but isn't that what you would want? They accept debit which is especially great now, and adhere to all the COVID rules with one party allowed in the shop at a time. Picking out what you want is easy with the sign out front, but newbies can't go wrong with assorted meat or our go to, BBQ pork. TIP: You may have to hunt around for street parking and there may be a bit of a wait at lunch when it's popular. Just found out they're temporarily closed until the spring :(
Best vietnamese sub Ive ever had. Prices are insanely reasonable. Fresh made to order subs with guality ingredients. Highly recommended! Number 2/9 top sellers. I personally love #6 - the tofu is delicious!
1st time in here at lunch time too and they were so efficient and quick. All ingredients were super fresh and veggies so crisp! The bun was absolutely perfect, crisp outside so soft and fresh inside. Perfect amount of sauce used... Really can you tell I loved my first sub sandwich from here? I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Banh MI Givral Deli.
Delicious Banh Mi at fantastic value (3.85 a sandwich). Spring rolls are good as are tiger rolls. Young staff is fluent in multiple languages. Ordering is easy and service is fast. Tried it a few times now, going with the assorted meat banh mi and it has always been tasty and consistent.
