Cheryl is the best dog trainer I have met through our last 20 years of having dogs. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of training. More importantly she shares this information in such a kind and caring manner and through her classes, we have really had success with our pup ( who can sometimes be a mini-terrorist!)

I first heard about Elite Dog Training from a friend up north. Coincidentally, the training facility was in my home town. From the day we (Ed and I) walked into the facility, we were greeted warmly. I am so pleased at Ed's growth and discipline as a result of the specific training and skill level of the trainers with whom we work. We both appreciate the training techniques that focus on positive reinforcement, consistency and her ability to differentiate for the needs of different dogs. The feedback is always immediate and relevant to our task. Cheryl and her staff have been so supportive and encouraging in helping us reach our goals. I'm so proud of Ed's accomplishments, his manners, and the compliments I receive on his behaviour as a result of the experiences we've had with Cheryl. I highly recommend this facility to anyone dedicated to learning alongside their furry family member and gaining life long skills.
I cannot say enough about how amazing the first Pee Wee class was. I'm sure I will write a better review once our dog is finished with the program, but in just ONE DAY I have followed all the advice to the letter and I have a completely different puppy. My dog has hated her crate since we got her (7 weeks) and in just 1 day she has taken 3 naps in her crate. We also went on a walk today that didn't stress me out. There was alot of correction but I was able to correct calmly and confidently and she was challenged, which tired her out and as soon as we came home she went right into her crate, ON HER OWN and quickly fell asleep. If this is what I was able to accomplish in ONE day...I can't even imagine what is possible going forward. We have never owned a dog before...but Elite Training came highly recommended by our vet and next door neighbour. Can't wait till next week!
Cheryl and the team at Elite Dog Training helped us tremendously when we got our new puppy - a VERY active Portuguese Water dog. Without the organized obedience classes that Cheryl runs and her ability to teach, we would not have the great dog we have today. We continue to rely on her for training and expertise.
