I have been using it my whole life. We just used to call it the railway tracks. It is very nice now. Well lit and safe.

Nice trail, newly paved and partially lit. Well used along my walk by cyclists, skaters, boarders, runners and walkers alike.
This fully paved trail, 5.5 km runs from Waterloo to Kitchener and links Waterloo to Victoria Parks. A nice alternative to the sidewalks or streets if you are on foot, bicycle, skates or boards. You will encounter happy individuals, couples, families and sometimes strollers who peacefully negotiate the shared path. If hungry or thirsty, you will not have to travel far to be satisfied because there are several cafes and markets along your route. Other North American trails sometimes run through large City Parks and tend to be much noisier. It is a must for those looking for a stroll or much more strenuous activities. Run or walk to this wonderful trail here in Ontario! Very Highly Recommended!
Is a nice beautiful pet and ppl arw very friendly mostly used by the neighborhood very safe to walk ..
Really nice paved trail through the city, nice place to Rollerblade or bike. Watch out for packs of moms and strollers!
Love to ride it every day to and from work.
Brilliant Trail. Uptown Waterloo from Queen in about 10 minutes by bike, all on a smooth, flat surface.
Great trail
