Now that I moved to Toronto I missed their subs like a hell. Please open a branch in Toronto. Please Please. Please. Their vege sub with combo is fresh juicy and tastes delicious.
The employees here are super friendly and they made my visit extremely welcoming, great job by the management for getting quality customer service. Food is awesome and I will definitely be back when I'm in town. Biggest shout out to these 3 beautiful ladies Daria, Cady & Alicia as they were very busy during my visit but handled the rush like pros. 10 out of 5 stars!!
I went the first time last week and it was amazing. My partner and I was sooo amazed by the quality of the sub and how the ingredients were fresh and how much the packed the sub with fresh veggies and meat. we figured we would come back to enjoy another amazing time at jersey mikes. Today we came back to discover a different experience. They did not pack it as much with the veggies and meat. When I questions how much bacon was suppose to be in the sub she said it was only suppose to be 4 slices on a giant sub but last week we got 6 slices on a giant sub. Also the veggies were not as fresh this time and we asked for extra veggies however when I ate the sub there wasn't much as last time.
I had a wonderful experience at this location today, very friendly staff who answered my questions quickly and effectively. I ended up getting the famous Philly which is made with real steak chopped finely. The steak was tender and juicy and the peppers and onions cooked just right and were a perfect balance on a beautiful bakery fresh bun with just enough cheese.. I have not had a sandwich like this in a very long time. My husband had a giant original Italian Mikes way and he loved it, I of course stole a piece and I can say the ingredients were fresh, the meat and cheese are sliced fresh to order in front of you and the shredded lettuce is how subs should be made. The bread does get a bit wet by the time you get it home but holds up very well to their oil vinegar sauce.. and I was informed that you can ask for the sauce on the side and put as much or as little as you want on. Very accommodating. I also ended up with a show today with the gentleman behind the counter doing scenes out of the movie cocktail with the shakers and paper, all in all a very good experience. We will be returning and bringing our friends, in fact my husband has stated that this will be his weekly sub stop. this is a must try (you'll love it) .. far out passed any place I have been for subs..
