I recently had a workplace issue and needed an experienced lawyer. Melanie Reist came highly recommended and I'm glad I went to see her. In a short period of time Melanie negotiated a settlement with my employer that was better than I hoped for. Her fees were very reasonable. I found Melanie Reist to be very professional and she has a confidence that comes only with experience. If I ever need a lawyer in the future I will definitely call her.

Unfortunately I made an error in requiring a lawyer's assistant when my employer gave my position away during my maternity leave. I ended up paying hundreds of lost dollars for something that would have been free of charge through the Human Rights Tribunal. If you are looking for a tough \ don't take no for an answer\ lawyer I unfortunately would not recommend them. Save yourself the money and go through Human Rights, they will appoint you an attorney/lawyer free of charge. This way if you do not reach the outcome you were hoping for you're not out the money. Don't take the costly risk I took by mistake.
