I have worked with trainers in the past, and been happy with the results of the workout during our time together, but then completely lost when I attempt to workout by myself. Working Ian over the last 2 months has been wonderful. I feel really great about the work we do together, and I we work on similar exercises, and he is able to explain how and why to do the movements, so I am able to replicate it by myself, work out at home and continue my training, so I am seeing better results. I will continue to work with the trainers at this gym because of the positive atmosphere. I feel supported and seen as an individual. My plan is personalized and Ian pushes me to do MY best, encouraging me with passion and humour. I am seeing amazing results, both in my physical health, and my mental state. The positive support make me excited to go to the gym, even on days when I struggle to motivate, it is only ever a few minutes before I feel grateful to be there.

I’ve been working out with Ian for a little over five months now. The programming has been very effective, I have seen more games than I ever did by myself and I feel like I’m doing in a sustainable smart way. Ian is above and beyond in terms of his outgoing personality, knowledge of his trade, and does an awesome job as a personal trainer. The gym itself is very well equipped and very well-maintained. My fitness journey with Personal Edge Training began in the middle of a pandemic. I have never visited the gym or met my trainer in-person. My training takes place in my living room, my backyard deck, and on the outdoor trails and paths in my neighbourhood. Every week I meet virtually with my trainer, Roberta for core and strength training. The workouts are tailored to my fitness goals and the exercise is varied and personally challenging . My weekly cardio homework started as a brisk 20 minute walk and has grown to a daily 5 kilometres. With Roberta’s encouragement, I recently achieved a personal milestone of walking 5 km for 100 consecutive days and have set a new goal of walking 200 days before the snow flies. I love the convenience of training at home and Roberta makes it easy to achieve my fitness goals. I am on my way to a healthier and more active lifestyle.

If you are looking to care for your body and mind in this time of \physical distancing\ and \isolation\, I would strongly recommend ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING at the EDGE. No matter what your level of fitness, you will find the expertise, support, and passion of the owners of this studio, Roberta and Phil Snyder, and their staff to go above and beyond your expectations! I wasn't sure how easily my training would move from the studio to my home, but it's been great and easy. And don't worry if you are a \beginner\ or new to working out, these guys are pros and are totally welcoming and skilled in how to meet anyone's needs.

What an incredible atmosphere! Over the past 8 months I have noticed my mental and physical health have improved considerably. I have toned, built and increased my endurance - and all through many exercises I might not have thought to try on my own. I can workout at my own pace, the talented staff ensure I am challenged, stay motivated and using proper form, not to mention they create a warm and fun environment. After the lunchtime HIIT classes I feel great for the rest of the day and I am definitely more productive when I get back to work. Thanks Personal Edge team!
