I love this place ... The staff are great, very knowledgeable and friendly. The selection in store is pretty good. They also have books and clothing. One of my favorite things about the store is the smell.
Been shopping here for almost two decades. The staff have always been amazing, and informative. The prices are fair and competitive. The selection is huge! I bought all my first of everything here, back in the prohibition days! I even come back to town (an hour drive!) and shop here when i need new glass. Everything about this store is nostalgic to me, from the layout of the clothes/accessories to the fragrant incense smell to the Grateful Dead playing overhead. The annual party was always off the chain, too. When i was a teenager I had the biggest crush on the lady that works there (the one im pretty sure was behind all the Dead playing), which meant i would work super hard to find excuses to try new rolling paper flavours or just ask her advice. You guys are part of what makes Kitchener where my heart is and you probably do not even know who I am; if that isn't a testament to how incredible the experience at Shakedown is i don't know what is.
Super helpful staff. More then willing to take the time to answer questions and show you all the different options. Great for someone not sure where to start
