Fantastic lunch today. The server was worked very hard. I had the California Chicken sandwich that was loaded with guacamole, cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce and juicy chicken breast. My husband had a burger and we both got fries and gravy. We will be back!
We ordered the Whale Combo. And side of suicide chicken wings. I must say. It was absolutely delicious. Delivered in great time. Very easy to order. Very happy with the price! Highly recommend to anyone. Thanks Whale & Ale. We will order again. Skip the dishes gets a thumbs up to.
Food was amazing!!! Price was a bit high, I think due to Covid, however it was worth every cent...especially to be able to support a local business. It was my first time eating their food and it was such a great experience. Definitely recommend the Pear and Brie Panini and the Lamb burger. Everything was so delicious!!! Can't wait to dine in once the world opens up again.
It might be a good place for garlic lovers but for us it was just too much. I had the Toad in the Hole and my husband had the pork schnitzel which was overcooked. I will say they were very careful regarding social distancing and our waitress was very good.
Excellent!! Re-ordered our fave, Whale Burger, fresh cut fries, real beef gravy & a meal sized fresh salad. As always, did not disappoint! Highly recommend! Huge portions, freshly made, excellent quality & flavour.
We ordered from here through Skip the Dishes tonight, wanting to try a new place. The food arrived in a timely manner. There were three mistakes in an admittedly largish order, one big, two small. I called the restaurant and the lovely woman I spoke to was courteous, friendly and immediately began to set things right. Quickly the corrections were made and resent. The food tasted amazing, the portions were big enough to please even my four teenagers and the customer service was over and above. Get food here - you will not regret it! We certainly will again.
