Im 68 and ponderosa was a new school, first grade only. My dad died a few years before and i was afraid the bus was going to take me away from my mom. My teacher, Miss Arrant met me every day at the bus and always gave me extra hugs. I hope ponderosa is still hiring teachers of that calibur
