They do not send out paper bills and on occasion will send an email bill. They don't return phone calls. You can not pay on line or with any bill pay account. You have to print off the invoice (if you get it), address an envelope and send a check in the mail. It is an extremely inefficient billing system. I don't have options because of the location where we live or I would change. The actual internet is usually pretty good. Goes down a few times a year and has been down for 3 days at a time.

I have had excellent customer service when ever I've had a problem they always either inform me that there's a problem with a tower, or they fix it by sending a boost or something. although lately we've had a lot of slow internet and in the evenings it seems maybe their system is overloaded. Great for the price though, so if you want internet and not spend 50/month minimum, go with Steel net.

Horrible internet company!! Love paying 70 bucks a month for \high speed\ internet that randomly shuts off every other day. Can't ever get a hold of these people either! Unprofessional!!!!

My neighbor on Sea Mist Dr., Port Charlotte, FL 33981 uses this internet provider when he is engaging in internet trafficking and is causing my computer and internet provider-Comcast severe stalling. Also, SteelNet is NOT an secured internet provider and should not be used and causes massive viruses therefore this provider is being reported to the FCC and the federal authorities for immediate removal.

When we first signed up, they were great. That was years ago though - for the last 3-4 years, service has been spotty and the speed is 1/10 what it used to be. We have connection problems all the time and nothing but excuses from customer service. I would drop them completely but we're in a blind spot for every other ISP and unfortunately crappy internet is better than no internet at all.
