Spent a while looking for solutions to haul and store my motorcycle and was lucky enough to come across Klinger Trailers which builds something that did both in one thing. Quality is top notch and the functionality is extremely well thought out. Tows extremely well - if only all trailers towed this well! Shawn kept me up-to-date during construction - even sending pictures of the trailer during the build process. Would not hesitate to refer anyone to Klinger Trailers.

I have a 1970s double-axle boat trailer for a 18’ boat that was on its last legs (except for the frame). I was considering buying a new trailer but Marc said the frame was in good shape. Shawn and Marc brought it back to life and now I have a pretty much brand new trailer with all new axles and tires, LED lights, surge brakes, new hitch etc. Great company to work with, excellent communication, honest advice, excellent craftsmanship etc. I highly recommend Klinger Trailer!

We drove almost 6 hours to meet with Mark and Shawn to discuss what we needed in a trailer and check out their business. Don’t let them working out of their house fool you; they are a legitimate business and honest folks. We had them build us a taller, wider trailer to fit our needs. We also purchased Condor chocks and had Klinger install. They kept in contact with my husband on the timing and process. When the trailer was ready, we drove back to their location to pick it up. They had a VIN number and all the paperwork ready so there was no issues trying to register or insure the trailer. After a few trips with the trailer, we did have a few issues that needed to be addressed. My husband contacted Shawn and set up a meeting. Both Mark and Shawn worked to fix the issues that came about which ended up to be no fault of their own. At no time, did they make the issues our fault or make us feel like it was something we caused. After another trip up to MI, they discovered that the cambers that were installed on our trailer failed and needed to be replaced. Even though our trailer was out of the warranty period, Mark and Shawn replaced the cambers and made everything right. A week later, we were on our way to Sturgis! We love this trailer! It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The drop down bed makes loading the motorcycles effortless.

I recently picked up my drop-bed trailer from Klinger Trailer in Paw Paw Michigan after too many years of hassling with ramps. Mark is a real craftsman and Shawn explained how everything worked and led me through the process of selecting options. I made the 2,000 mile trip to Tucson, hauling a Road King, with no problems; 80 mph passing semis on the interstate,twisty 2 lane roads, no sway dodging potholes, light enough I hardly knew it was there over the mountain passes. These guys are a class act.

Amazing service! We found Shawn and Marc on Google at 8:58pm on a Friday night - just two minutes before they were scheduled to close. We had sparks and smoke flying from our boat trailer and knew we couldn't make it back to Indianapolis safely that night. Though we were 30 minutes away from them, they offered to stay open and wait for us to arrive. We pulled up at 9:30 pm. They diagnosed and fixed the problem in about 10 minutes and had us on our way before 11:00pm. All on a Friday night. Who does that? We were stunned. Blown away. And so appreciative. Wish we lived closer. We'd trust them with ALL of our automotive/trailer/etc. needs. First class. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a drop bed motorcycle trailer and some on-line research turned up Klinger Trailer. Turns out they are about 45 minutes from me so I took a ride down to meet them and see how their trailer operated. Mark and Shawn are both great to deal with and very concerned that you get what you need and are happy with their product. I placed an order and it was ready when promised. The form, fit, and finish are outstanding. Mark is a real craftsman. About a month after picking up the trailer I had an issue with the chock which Mark took care of right away and at no charge to me. Prior to this trailer I had only used UHaul motorcycle trailers and the difference is night and day. The Klinger trailer is so well-behaved on the road that I hardly notice it unless I'm looking in the rear mirror. One potential issue that I didn't realize until after picking up the trailer: If you ride an Indian, be sure to specify a Condor wheel chock when you place the order. This is a great trailer, I highly recommend it.
