Relaxed vibe, friendly and efficient waiters with a variety of well priced craft beer. The cheese burger with 500ml beer special is great value for money. Definitely worth a visit.

Locally brewed craft beers at their best. Tasting board is a win & took home a The Fisherman 6 pack. Awesome to have a drink right next to where they are brewing.

Great local and international beer at a great price. Awesome atmosphere and vibe. Sports being shown on TV and reasonable pub style fare. Visit Stumpnose you won't be disappointed
On first impressions, it looks like a fun brewpub with friendly staff. Beers are Average...dark stout one probably your best bet or the lager, or th he endless summer... but the fisherman IPA....reminds me of licking your fingers after gutting a fish....not my favorite. My recommendation is try a few 165 ml "tasters",(you pay...no free tasters here) The burger touted as TOP CHOICE, but very average as burgers go and overpriced at R100, I had one as a special with a beer, not relay specially at all, but good value at R80 with a beer....so go figure. If you'd like a good burger, drink beer here and then go next door to the Hussar for a Steak maybe. In summing up..the staff are really good....perhaps the owner might take a most vested interest in what's being served.....just saying
Interesting place to meet and try out some in-house brewed craft beers. Interesting selection. Prices not bad too. Would like to have been offered "taster" before buying a large glass. Not every flavour is my taste palette.. Food menu is available. Very limited and average. Service was good and friendly

Was my first time there, absolutely brilliant staff! The place has an amazing vibe that everyone will enjoy. GREAT BEER and GREAT FOOD ! Highly Recommended!
