Lovely hotel run by a nice grandpa.
If you travel by car I would surely recommend it as a stay basis to visit Bruges and Gent. Cozy small hotel with good service and great breakfast. Also beer served here at least to my taste is very good.
The owner is a good caretaker. The hotel is nice and despite its location, the noise from the road ahead is pretty muffled, which means your nights will be quiet. The room is big enough and clean. Same to be said about the bed sheets, even though they seem they have gone through rough handling (some holes are present). Bathroom is ok but I would have preferred a shower instead of bath tub.

Great place to stay if touring around area or traveling on
This is a small independent hotel. The room was clean and the bed bed didn't offer much support. Breakfast options were fairly, limited, but it beat a blank. The staff addressed my needs, but didn't seem like they wanted to deal with any challenges.
Decent rooms, although a bit expensive. Breakfast was quite good.
