Clean, plenty of parking, great location, awesome prices and deals. Employees and customer service are helpful and willing to go that extra mile to make the customer happy. Wheelchair accessible, many taste for each individual. From men to women and child nothing they do not offer and plenty to choose from. Friendly surroundings and comfortable enough you can bring your entire family.
So I love this store. First of all, you walk in and your taken aback at how huge the place is. Lots of space, lots of merchandise. Clean, neat, organized. I came in looking for a polo or button down shirt for my job. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a plus department. I selected 2 men's polos and 1 plus button down shirt in a lovely green color. I saw the athletic shoes, and had to look.... ended up buying a pair of Nike's. People were pleasant. I will come back.
Large selection and great prices. We went to a used sports store first and they were way overpriced. So we tried Academy, prices were way better for NEW equipment.

In the past customer assistance was above satisfactory. Today I asked 3 employees about where a discounted security safe was. All employees said they were on the floor somewhere and I could go look for them myself because they were too busy. One was a manager. They lost out on a probable sale. I also asked about purchasing some ammo for a firearm that I had originally purchased from them. They said they would not sell me any info unless I purchased another firearm. That was crazy! I left!
Arrived early to purchase ammo. Waiting line not to bad. Should allow shoppers to purchase 4 box's instead of two.
My visit to academy sports was for a small item. But received help and quick responce from sales person on the floor. Store was busy and clean.
