We were set up in their vacant parking lot next door, handing out free hot food and they called the police on us. We had to leave before everyone was fed. Everything turned out ok because we found a place right down the street. So much for The Salvation Army helping the less fortunate.

Delivered a tractor-trailer load of donated food. Met some wonderful people. I look forward to going back sometime.
Wow I am just floored. I called to find out where to donate some items and was told that the Salvation Army doesn't take items anymore just money. Wow.
Great place to get nick nicks
I love volunteering in the kitchen. Kevin and Kerry are excellent and it is a pleasure to serve my community through this shelter. It’s easy to get involved with volunteering and April, the coordinator, does a great job scheduling help in the kitchen!
