Fretted for three days trying to remove my lawnmower blade so I could have it sharpened. The bolt holding the blade was totally frozen. I called Mr.Stubbs and told him about my issue. He told me to bring it to him and he would take care of it while I waited. He got the blade off in 10 seconds and his coworker sharpened it while I waited.I was on my way home in 10 minutes. All for a very fair price. Now that I found Mr. Stubbs my lawnmower fretting days are over!

When I moved to Knoxville, I had to put my push mower, riding lawn mower and weed eater in storage because we moved into a townhouse. My family and I recently purchased a new home. I removed my lawn mowers from the storage unit after they have been sitting there for 6 years of no usage. I couldn’t get either of my lawn mowers to start. I took my push mower to Mayo Garden Center West location and they had my lawn mower for 2 weeks and were unable to getting back running so I could cut my grass (keep in mind that I moved into a new neighborhood and now my grass is getting much higher at this time). After multiple calls back to Mayo asking about the current status of my lawn mower, I finally told the service department to set my lawn mower aside because I was coming to pick it up in order to take it to someone that could FIX IT! I called Mr. Stubbs and he was very professional. He told me the issue with my lawn mower over the phone without even looking at it (based on the description of the issue the mowers that I provided him over the phone). I TELL YOU NO LIE........I dropped my push mower off to Mr. Stubbs at Stubbs Fix-It Shop at 9:40 that morning and Mr. Stubbs called me back at 12:07 and said, “Mr. Baker your lawn mower is ready”! Mayo Garden Center West location couldn’t fix my lawn mower in 2 weeks, but Mr. Stubbs at Stubbs Fix-It Shop fixed it in a little over 2 hours. I will definitely be taking my riding lawn mower to Stubbs Fix-It Shop as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Stubbs Fix-It Shop located in the Cedar Bluff area off of Ball Camp Pike for your small engine 2 or 4 cycle repairs.

I found Mr Stubbs' shop 3 or 4 years ago, and I've not taken my mowers anywhere else since. He's honest, does quality work, and is reasonably priced. I dropped off my walk-behind trimmer Monday afternoon, and it was ready Tuesday afternoon. I know major repairs would take longer, but the point is, he's conscious of folks' time and does things as quick as is feasible. He's quicker than any other shop I've ever used.

Mr. Stubbs and his helper couldn’t have been nicer. Great people. I will definitely be back for any service needed on my Cub Cadet. They got it back in the time frame they promised AND it runs better than it ever has! I’m mowing with a Cadillac.
