I’ve been coming here for years. The staff up front is awesome. But when the doctor asked if he could take his face mask off and if I wanted to take mine off.. I was shocked. This is a professional and a medial setting. The rules for Knoxville area as well as for the target store itself are pretty clear. I will be seeking a different optometrist office for my next visit.

The manager and staff have been endlessly patient and kind with my extremely sensitive and critical nature. They have been both sympathetic and empathetic to my discomfort and pain from the frames and worked with me to find a positive resolution. Prior to my actual purchase and replacement, they did not complain as I tried on dozens upon dozens of frames, multiple times, trying to find the right one, despite making an incorrect choice based on trendy fashion and aesthetics, instead of form and function for my hyper sensitive ears.
I just signed in and waited on the bench for an hour to buy glasses. I know because of Covid that there are a limited amount of people allowed in the store at one time. Finally I got up and asked could I come in because I was tired, hungry and obviously being ignored. Well, evidently the list does not get checked and he is by himself. I walked in and walked out. Nope. Going to give my money to people who don't want my business. Why have the eye center roped off and a sign in sheet if you are NOT going to check it? Ridiculous. I have shopped at this location for years but you all just lost my business.
Very nice staff.Dr.is nice and will answer your questions if you have them.
The best place I have been to. Dr Devine and everyone else are very nice and professional. I've been here 2 years now and they took good care of a scratch on my eye.
I went in because I have something in my eye and I had a scratch from a year ago from my dog. I told the doctor when I got there he looks at my eye with a flashlight for one second and then he said oh I know what the problem is, 'since I can't see it'' I guess he meant the scratch, he told me he would give me a prescription for a solution. And at the same time he said it wasn't a prescription so I was really confused.. big red flag after he pulled the light out of my eye for one second I told him that there is something in my eye not just a scratch but something else was bothering me and I said I would pay the difference for vision test but he said ' he didn't have time today" which is fine but still charged me 50 to shine a light in my eye for literally one second and not even check for debris and write me a fake prescription for something I was told by the pharmacy is an over the counter. Such a waste of my time and money I'll take it up with my bank.
I was just at this location and waited my turn to be assisted. The lady that works there was very rude. She didn't even look up to see me just ask what I needed. When I ask a question she didn't even bother to look at me during this time just said "no we don't do that". I don't know what had her attention but it sure wasn't the customer. I did business here but no longer. Will find a professional service.
After waiting to be seen, was told would have to reschedule. It was four minutes after! Four minutes , I mean I waited at least that long for them to acknowledge me. Was already in the system, and have waited on them several times up to 30 minutes before. Wasted my valuable time, that I took off early from work. Staff was smug about it. I mean what does one expect? Optometry in a Target, and that's the type of power tripping poor service you will receive. Pulling my family and letting everyone I know to go somewhere else. Store has been remodeled... Lipstick on a pig.
