Always professional and customer service oriented. This is the only audiologist in greater Knoxville that was willing to help me when I moved here from Atlanta. Invited me in without asking me to make a commitment to them.

I've been with Tennessee Hearing Instruments since early 2016 and they've been great to work with. I purchased my 1st set of hearing aids from them. I moved to another country to work on a US military base (civilian) for 3 years and they continued to help me. I would send my hearing aids to them via mail and they'd clean, service, and send back to me. It was comforting to get that level of service. I'm in the process of getting my 2nd set of hearing aids from them. I recommend them to anyone looking for hearing help!

The staff is absolutely wonderful. I first started going to see them in 2012 and made an inquiry to them by email. They were able to reach out to me that day and an appointment was made. They have always treated me with respect and really listen to my concerns. They are always available to answer all of my questions.

I took my aunt to Tennessee Hearing Instruments yesterday and was very pleased with the service they gave. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and a caring place. In the month of November each year they help people out that can't afford a hearing aid, if you qualify you get a hearing aid free. They get donations for this program, however the donations they receive are few and far between. This means a lot more comes out of their pocket, and without any donations they may not be able to continue this program. The gift of hearing is such a wonderful gift to have. Tennessee Hearing Insruments is awesome, they give the gift of hearing to someone in need. Give the gift of hearing to someone today, make your donation!!

Very professional office. Dr Smith is very conscientious, knowledgeable, uses latest technology, and works to assure that the instrumentation is working optimally. He is also very patient, and his staff are warm and courteous. Their coffee is the best in town!

Dr. Smith and the staff are wonderful at Tennessee Hearing Instruments. I have known them for several years and they always go over and above to meet my loved ones needs. I first met Dr. Smith when he helped my daughter obtain hearing aides. He was so good with my daughter that I began bringing my mother to him also. Dr. Smith was generous to help me maintain my mother's hearing aides for the last two years even though she had not purchased them from him. His objective is to help people hear. Dr. smith recently fit my mom for new hearing aides after hers were lost during a hospital stay. He and the staff have been wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Tennessee Hearing Instruments. They won't let you down.

As a young 50 year-old, I walked into Tennessee Hearing Instruments to determine if my perceived hearing issue was real and left with trial hearing aids, hearing sounds I apparently haven’t heard in years. Initially, it was the completeness of Dr. Smith’s voice, as I experience low frequency loss. Then it was my daughter’s voice, followed by an evening of conversation with my husband, the first time in years not asking him to repeat himself. This is going to be life changing. It has become so frustrating just living, constantly saying, “Huh? Or What?” or after so many requests for repetition, just pretending I hear. I am anxious to see how it improves my work environment when I return to teaching in a couple months. My students become very frustrated because I cannot hear their responses, which they rarely want to share once, much less over and over. The particular hearing aids I am trying are fabulous. They are controlled from my iPhone where I can save settings for each environment I encounter. I have created unique settings for general, music only, music with background, porch, and den with family. Unlike my dad and father-in-law have reported, in three days I have not heard any uncomfortable noises. These aids apparently adjust to extra loud or distant sound. My husband was just calling to me from a distance on our property and my hearing aids changed the setting to place his voice directly in my ear. As an extra bonus, the staff at THI are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable, making this such an individualized experience.
