A restaurant with beautiful views and great food! The Butterfly Blu restaurant is a gem in Brenton with breathtaking views! The food is tasty and unique and the staff are friendly and service is quick! You feel like family when eating here and it is a great place to take friends and family for a good, hearty meal when in the area. Ten out of ten!

We went to the Butterfly Blu Restaurant on the 2nd of April 2021. Anesipho was the waitress. It had an amazing atmosphere when we arrived. All the necessary COVID-19 protocols were followed. We had an excellent view of the ocean. I enquired about the beers and were allowed a quick tasting before making my final selection. We ordered the Gourmet Beef Burgers and it was excellent along with some cocktails and a Dom Pedro. I ordered the Red Bridge Golden Ale. Sadly there was no stock of the Red Bridge Lager, but the Golden Ale was really amazing. They also had Jack Black and Castle on tap. There were ample and safe parking outside the restaurant. Amazing service. A menu with a wide variety of options to choose from. Come to Butterfly Blu Restaurant when you are in Knysna. They come highly recommended.

Food is ok. Not fantastic. Thai red was a huge miss, and disappointing; beef burger was rather overlooked and dry. But Seafood platter was good

When my mom picked Butterfly Blu for lunch I resigned myself to the classic seafood restaurant Greek salad, us vegetarians are have to order. But a quick glance at the menu revealed a vegetarian section! And vegetarian pizza options. Cut to an hour later and I was enjoying one of the most delicious salads I've ever ordered. Fresh, crunchy Asian flavours filled my bowl. Accompanied by a spicy sesame dressing I was having to deny my family third and fourth mouthfuls of my food. Something that rarely happens! If you're in need of something a little more substantial there is a mushroom burger, a tofu curry, the most delicious twice friend chips and a wide selection of pizza. Personally, I cannot wait to come back for that salad!

The food was good. Had the Miso pork and the Creme Brule. The portions were healthy and the food rich. Blu was really worth a visit. The view was also stunning. The day we were there there wasn't a cloud in the sky and we had a clear line-of-sight to Buffalo Bay.

Lovely place to winr and dine with a view of the ocean. It's worth the drive as you will instantly fall in love with the surroundings. Love the food and the service was really good and friendly.
