The English name is Jamaicana Restaurant & Bar. I stopped here for lunch on a whim, thanks to the owner Noel's energetic sales pitch on the sidewalk and my desire to look for a little more variety on my trip to Kobe. I'm so glad I did -- the jerk chicken was outstanding! Super-tender and juicy boneless chicken thigh with an excellent jerk sauce. The lunch set also included a tasty thick chicken broth, a nice salad, and a couple of fried dumplings that are like doughnuts. Noel was very friendly, and we chatted for a while about his interesting past (he used to be in a '60s soul group!). The restaurant is on the top floor of an 8 floor building, and has a good view of the surrounding city. If you're visiting Kobe and have had your fill of Kobe beef, definitely give this place a try! Addendum: I ended up going twice more, bringing a couple of friends with me, and they were impressed as well! I tried the ackee & saltfish, which was amazing, as well as the brown stew fish, which had a lighter flavor, but still delicious. One of my friends had the goat curry, which he thought was perfectly done.
Great Jamaican food. Very friendly owner will make you feel welcome. Highly recommended, one of my favorite restaurants in Kobe.
The food was very filling and delicious. First Jamaican restaurant I've ever been to in Japan and well worth it. Staff was also very friendly and welcoming.
The real thing. Went with Bill Cheng (see his review) for dinner. Bill had acki and salt fish (It's boiled to reconstitute it and not salty). I had a savory fresh fish stew. Both were delicious and the portions generous. The location is great if you want to continue on to the jazz club, Sone, across the street or other jazz venues in the neighborhood.
Great food and service! Especially for homesick Jamaicans. The chef is Jamaican so food is authentic. Also they play good reggae music

陽気なジャマイカ人店主、ノエルさんが切り盛りされる老舗ジャマイカ料理店。ジャマイカ料理店というのは全国的にも大変珍しい存在のようです。色々お料理を頂きましたが、どれもスパイシーではあるものの、事前に想像していたよりはるかに日本人受けする味で美味しかったです。ビルの８階という立地から眺める神戸の景色もGood。ただし基本的にノエルさんのワンオペなので料理が出てくるには時間がかかります。美味しいお料理はもちろん、ノエルさんのお人柄も含めて楽しめるお店だと思います。
