Great ambience. Edam specials like Pumpkin soup are worth trying. Good service. A must visit place if you are anywhere near Panampilly Nagar. It is not just the food, the mood is commendable.

I had heard of this restaurant in town, but this is the first time I tried this place for a Sunday lunch with family. First of all let me tell you that the food is really great! They take their own sweet time to prepare and serve, but the wait is worth it. The interior and ambience is really warm and interesting. The artefacts engage your attention while you wait for your food to arrive. The pumpkin soup, Durban bunny chow, smoked salmon and sapid salmon were all done to perfection. The little one was all smiles after eating the Kids Pizza and chocolate brownie! Just one point for the attention of the restaurant management: The fabric upholstery on the chair, although looks fancy, is not the best choice in these times when people are fussy about hygiene. Perhaps some disposable liners could be placed over the upholstery.
It was a long pending plan to visit Edam ever since it opened. Thanx to Corona for prolonging it this long. We went there for Dinner, as usual hungry and ready to eat even whoever comes across our way. Chef - Srijith greeted us and helped us with the orders. We went the classic route with a chicken gumbo soup, Caesar Salad, Mojito, Orange Juice and some breads. My younger one loved the cold pressed fresh orange juice. We ordered a Vintage Stake, Chicken Duxelles, Slider Burgers, Penne Alfredo and a Chicken Cheese Quiche. The food was scrumptious, the quinoa from chicken duxelles reminded me of some old school memories. As I don’t feel easy without being critic, I would have relished more if the black pepper sauce had a pinch of salt in it. The mashed baby potatoes can go royal with some fresh cream and a bit of parsley for topping. Kids ate a main course with the fabulous spread of deserts there, where I as a spectator mostly. We wanted to try a few more things like Focarata breads, tenderloin sandwich, but tummy (though popped out enough already) did not pooled in any team spirit – may be since on an Easter evening. Thus, marking it a must visit again spot. Location: Easy to locate Parking: Enough for the seating capacity Ambiance: Just Wow! Foot Note: The place is smaller than I expected based on the google photos. But if you ever wondered about the uses of burettes and pipettes in your chemistry labs you should visit here
Super cute place. Took a super long time to get a simple order with only two other people there besides me. Nevertheless, it was good! Their lil library has an excellent selection of books- not sure if they are for sale or for just reading there... cafe mocha and Mushroom quiche was good. I liked this place.
A well maintained place with peaceful atmosphere and good ambience.. friendly staff and good service.. have an attractive menu and has no compromise on quality of dishes.. overall a superb place to chill..
This is a really good place to chill. Has a decent food and beverage selection on offer as well. Additionally, the service is great and the staff is very courteous. Most importantly, their pan cake and pot tea is great too! A must visit for those like to read in peace, eat in peace and breathe in peace.. :)
‘Warm’ is the word that comes to the mind when I think of Edam. The lighting, the people and the atmosphere exudes warmth. Edam is the perfect place for a relaxed afternoon coffee alone, with friends or a date. Yours truly has spent many fruitful afternoons here for work too. Highly recommended!
Visited the cafe late in the night. Its open from 6am in the morning till 2am at night. The first and foremost thing that strikes us is the whole ambience and the decor. The way in which they have converted a small space into a beautify art cafe is absolutely amazing. A lot of thought has been put into the decor, in putting up a lot of rustic artistry items, from the chairs, the tables, the wall hangings, the ceiling, the book shelves, and even the plates and glasses. We feel a very relaxing and positive vibe ince we are in. We came into the cafe to have something to drink. And the variety of drink they serve was also huge. We had an orange, a raspberry and a blueberry flavouded mocktails and all three were good. We also had a chocolate and hazelnut cake as well and that was also good. The overall vibe in there is pretty damn good and i would recommend it to everyone who would like to take a late night relaxing drink and munching.
