Nice place to visit. Whenever you come to Patuli, visit this place atleast once. You will fall in love with this place. This place is well decorated and well maintained by KMDA. After all the damages made by the cyclone Aamphan the boats are restored again and reopened the market on 17 October, 2020. Before Aamphan, the boats were floated in the water and move with the flow of water. But after Aamphan the boats are made fixed with a wooden platform over water. So that the boats cannot move. Some grasses are placed around the fountain that makes it look great. The beauty of the floating market increases after sunset. As the lights turn on it maximize its beauty. As the location is exactly beside the bypass road so transport is very good. Bus, auto are available and also metro is not so far. You can also travel by metro. Nearest metro station is Shahid Khudiram Metro Station.

Beautiful. That's newest addition to Kolkata's tourist map. The whole market is above the lake in wooden platform. The whole area is beautified wonderfully. The whole area is very clean. Everyday products are available. There is even some tea shops in the market where you can sit and spend some time giving adda. The water under the market is clean too.

Nice place to hangout with friends, it used to be much bigger, but now the area has been reduced and less shops now.

Good place for an outing with friends & family. But I will not mark it best as many small snakes are loitering round in the water. The jheel is not well maintained & properly cleaned. The snakes can hid itself in the vegetables. So better check before buying.

Previously it was really beautiful but after Cyclone Umpun it has been made to a ruin. All the boats were severely damaged. Some shops are now running on the side pavements. Work is going on to restore it.

A wander full idea by govt. Really enjoy it when I visited at evening. Lighting also good. That increase the view of beauty.

Long day before , visiting this floating market in the early morning during my morning walk . Yesterday ( 08/12/18) we visit this again in the evening . Then most of the people are visitors only , in the morning shopping time . All items are available here . See my photos . Till it is clean and nice place for time pass also . So , one can come here for daily shopping or just for time pass . It's a new tourist destination of Kolkata at Patuli on E.M.Bypass.
