This place is a old, vintage jute factory. Most of the parts are abandoned, full of bushes and trees, it's like a different world inside. around with a radius of 2-3 km area is full of Abandoned House, Mills, Store rooms etc. There's also a rumour that inside this factory, there is a house of a Zamindar, name of the house is RANIKUTHI,which comes under the top most haunted place in Kolkata. People say it's a cursed house, and they have felt some negative vibes there. We went there in seek of truth and explored every corner of that house, We talked with local people who have shared their experiences and also filmed it and shared on youtube. The company's main office is at one corner of the huge 49 acres area. The entire area is now covered with wild bushes and trees. The area looks more like an old palace. I've been working hard to find out more about the palace, but even the locals don't seem know more than the Bird and Company. Not quite a safe place to hang around there after dusk. Place to visit during the day light.
