Data Science Foundation is a non-profit platform, established in 2013 dedicated to the fraternity of data science. It is governed by an Executive Council consisting of senior members from coveted organizations across the globe like Honeywell, NASSCOM, ANZ, Erricson, TCS, IIM A, Cognizant, Viacom 18, DBA, Microsoft and Northern Trust, each of whom have secured pivotal positions in the field of data science. The group contributes to the effective use of analytics models and techniques including but not limited to Big Data, Predictive modeling, Machine learning, sentiment analysis, and different tools. The focus is to complement each other as individuals and groups in mentoring, guiding and inspiring in new trends of analytics. The group also contributes to innovative ways and ideas to foster and disseminate analytics learning and methods at learning centers, institutions, and universities. DSF has been set up with five key objectives: IDENTIFY AND SHARE BEST PRACTICES AND MODELS Explore, identify and share the best practices in analytics outsourcing life-cycle and statistical models applicable for different industries.
