1. As the hall is not that much big, so screen is good from that perspective. 2. Screen brightness is also medium. 3. Sound is good. 4. ACs are not chilling one. However, if you seat near to the wall, it is more cool there. 5. Besides, one thing I really enjoyed is that the ambience. You can become nostalgic when you enter cinema hall. All the great cinema's poster are kept there for viewer. Really loved it !! If you want to go with family, you can.

5mins distance from my house. Had bad experiences while watching movies like broken seat etc like 10years ago but now I see it has improved a lot with good choice of movies.
This Cinema Hall is placed in a nice location... Ticket Price is pocket friendly.. Though the hall is very small but ambience is quite good... Sound is excellent and Picture is also nice... In this auditorium you will be witnessed a lots of posters of Indian Cinemas and Foreign Cinemas... The experience is quite good...
Sound quality is okay but they have to improve their picture quality. AC are placed in row at the wall side.it's not central control.Behavior of stuff is good & friendly. Waiting area will illuminate our past memories about film.
A nostalgic place with the framed posters of old movies adorning its walls. Ticket prices are extremely cheap. However, the sound and picture qualities don't live upto expectations.
Proper service. Proper response from the people working their. As you visit the hall premise you could see a lot of posters of different films from different eras. Paradise for a film buff. Though the climate control system needs work. Tickets extremely cheap.
Very dirty place... Tickets Price is prity high then other best places like nandan, manoka and London Paris cinema Hall. There is no seperate place for balcony but toilets are clean but the interior of Hall is worst
Indira cinema hall is located at 2, Indra Roy Road, Bakul bagan, Bhabanipore, Kolkata- 700025. It is a very old popular cinema hall of South Kolkata having single screen. There is provision of Only Balcony seats. Sound system is good. Seating arrangements are also comfortable. Being a small hall it feels uneasy to watch movie from close distance. It is better to book ticket(s) earlier to collect tickets of last rows. So far I remember it was not a small cinema hall. First I have seen movie at this cinema hall possible in the year 1961/62 and the movie was ABHIJAN, starring soumitra Chatterjee. Taking out side food is restricted in the hall. Tea/coffee, potato chips, popcorn etc are available within the hall premisses. Though it is a A C hall but cooling system is not functioning properly. During the days of Malls and Multiplex culture it is one of the few halls that are still functioning. It is a pocket friendly hall. The location of the cinema hall is very good. Transportation is available to different parts of Kolkata , moreover the Jatin Das Metro station is very near. Online tickets can be booked. The lounge is decorated with photos of old famous movies.
