This is one of the oldest fish market in Kolkata. All varieties of fish are available. Price needs to be bargained. The market opens early morning and closes late at night almost till 11pm. Though it is advisable to shop during the morning hours. Also you should have some experience. Tip: Wear flip flops and dark t-shirt to avoid blood stains.

Hidden GEM- you can try the full cream paneer available there, they are the best at a reasonable price as much as Rs. 300/ kg. I think that is lowest price to get quality full cream paneer , in whole North Kolkata
