This was once one of the greatest eateries in Kolkata. The famous kathi roll and kebabs! But now all the glory is gone. From the latest experience here, rolls were just OK but there was too much lemon in them. It was very hard to find mutton in mutton rolls. Kebabs were good, soft and delicious but portion size could be a little more.

I went for dinner at New Market Nizam's Restaurant. I had Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Roll. Food is good but not at all worthy compare to the ambience and the environment of the restaurant. I have seen rats and cats are running like anything under the tables, coming from the kitchen and everywhere. I was so surprised and this is not at all acceptable from a 89 years old restaurant of Kolkata. They don't even clear floors properly. In a word, I will not recommend to go there and have food because of the cleanliness and the ambience.

It's one of the oldest restuarant in new market region... Outlet is pretty big with minimal aesthetic decor... Seating arrangement must be improved although the design looks good... Staffs are good spoken... Food is ok... Expected better from them... Chicken biriyani and chicken reshmi kebab are the recommendations... Quantity was good... Price is reasonable...

Very authentic restaurant.. Famous for mutton kathi rolls.. Mutton pieces were very soft just melt in mouth.. So yummy... Very authentic taste... Must try..

The ambience is unique ; a gentle mixture of tranquility with soothing music. We ordered pizza and fish finger. The pizza is delectable and the size is quite big than other restaurants.

The place provides one of Kolkata's Iconic food the Kathi Roll Kebabs. They also provide biriyani which is actually magnificent in taste. If you visit Kolkata then this place is a must go. If you are foody then this place must be in your list.
