It's a holy dham in North Kolkata. While Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu en route to Nilachal dham (Puri) he visited this spot and advised for nonstop bhajan. His pair of paduka (sandals) left by him and carefully preserved by the devotees. Granth mandir, lord Nitai Gour, Radha Krishna and Jagannath Balaram Subhadra are daily worship here.
