Last week I lunched out with Sakhis/ Friends at Sesame, a Vegetarian restaurant,located at the crossing of Theatre Road and Rawdon street. It's on the 5th floor of the building housing fbb. The dining experience was a mixed one...some delicious, innovative and tasty dishes while others were ordinary. It was a buffet spread and reasonably priced. The standouts were the starters and soups.... the pesto khandvi was delicious as well as innovative. The soup too was perfect for a winter afternoon. The welcome drink... watermelon martini( non alcoholic) was amazing, it tickled the taste buds. The mains were okayish....it being a buffet...we had to make do with what was on offer. For desserts there was ice cream, mint pastry and bakhlava, which was good. Service was somewhat slow but one can visit this place to experience and decide for oneself if it's worthwhile or not!️

Great place for a pure vegetarian fine dining experience. The sizzlers and mocktails are exceptionally tasty. Highly recommend the Mediterranean steak sizzler and out of school mocktail.

Sesame is on the 5th floor of Fbb mall .It is a fine dining sort of pure vegetarian restaurant .They have ample space and special place for a group of 10-15 people .The dishes are good and a few are chef recommended .We ordered the starter just like palak patta chaat .It was chef suggested but the curd was sour hence the taste of the chaat was very tangy .The other dishes were normal .The desert was kk.The service was kk .There is lots of room for improvement .

Sesame has a sparse look, which is disconcerting at first, but one which one appreciates, by and by! The food is interesting. Great starters. Inventive and good fun to choose. The mains are less interesting, though it is compensated with range. The taste palate is more ordinary here. The sweet dishes are again good without overflowing into extraordinary. I would have given 3.5 stars if it was allowed!!

5 Star ambience and a host of signature dishes make this place an exclusive vegetarian restaurant for the people who look for class. Courteous staff and convenient central location are also to he considered. Ideal for birthday and kitty patties. A must for people looking for Jain Food.
