Shaktibad Ashram was founded on the principle of Worshipping Shakti, the female energy behind the Universe. The Ashram is just on the main road connecting Garia Station and Garia More. The Premises of the Ashram has Three main temples, the Old Temple, the New Temple and the Temple of Nine Planets. There is also Samadhi/Resting Place of the Founder of The Ashram. The Ashram's main concept is Ananda (Happiness or Bliss). The Ashram and it's Guru (Swami Souravananda) tried to manifest that Bliss through various Ceremonies, like Durga Puja or Navratri, Twice a year, one that was celebrated by Ravan and the other celebrated by Ram. Diwali, Shivratri and various other Pujas are also organised. Everyone's Welcome.
