It's a wonderful girls' school with enough importance laid on security and discipline. Humanities has wonderful teachers. However, talking about the science faculty, it isn't impressive at all, especially Physics.

I am a student of Shaw Public School and very honest to say that it's really a well maintained, disciplined school ....the staffs, teachers everyone is very helpful and polite... Teachers are more like our mothers who not only teach us from the pages of the books but also teach every girl to be independent and to be courageous. Academic as well as extra curricular activities are also important for a student . A book cannot be judged by its cover and same implies for my school. Thank you Shaw Public School for the brilliant change I have experienced. One of the best schools in Kolkata. I am proud to be a shaw publician.I am fortunate to be a student of SPS. The teachers are so frank, caring . SPS is like my second home nd the teahers are like my second mother. Clean & well managed girls school at Behala area.
The faculty here is very poor, especially the physics faculty. They try to show that they know many things but they are not at all cooperative and supportive. There is an urgent need to recruit new ones.
