Visited Soul Kitchen on a weekend and late afternoon for some snacks. Quite spacious and a bit hidden on the ground floor of Visitel Hotel. Staffs were very polite and welcoming. Ordered the following food: • Chicken Piri Piri - I just loved it, spicy and fulfilling 4 • Fish & Chips - Average, was served with tartar sauce which was a not good 3 Overall: • Food: 4/5 • Ambience: 3/5 • Cost: 4/5 • Hospitality: 5/5

Went on Sunday night, around 9.30 PM. There were only 2 waiters attending to everybody and the restaurant was about 75% full. After some waiting I was given a menu card. After another 10 minutes the chief waiter came and took our order. Starter chilly chicken : found the quantity less. Pieces of chicken were big and the taste of preparation had not entered into the chicken as well as when the pieces would have been smaller. This dish better avoided. Kasha chicken : Bengali style chicken cooked in tomato and onion gravy, was good. Adequate spices and good aroma Plain rotis were hot and brought soon. Waiters are polite and friendly. Although initially time was taken for attending to us, food order was brought in decent time. Management needs to attend to the following : Receiving of guests and allocating seats and providing them with menu card Increase the quantity of food, because for the rate being charged the quantity is quite less compared to other restaurants Should have smaller chicken cubes in Chinese dishes so that the aroma and taste gets distributed inside the chicken as well.

I had tried the buffet here on a cold afternoon. It was really good. Waiters were courteous. Food portions were good and delicious. Dessert was the best. I found the price quite affordable.

This is located next to Apollo Gleneagles hospital. I went to dine at Soul Kitchen in the ground floor and had some snacks at Soul Cafe just beside it. Both had wonderful ambience and some really good food.
