Each year in the first week of January, a flower show is held at this venue with a colorful display of Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, Roses add a host of colorful season flowers. But I was totally disappointed as the iconic flower show was not on. Only the Rose garden, few pots of season flowers and beds of Marigold kept the garden alive.

It's beautiful, calm and specially because of respected people as well. Good for long walks around the Garden. Lots of florality. Impressive maintenance but can be more improved. Gate keepers should be more friendly to newcomers.

Best place for an evening or morning walk. The walking track provides a stretch of 1.5 kms a round. So it is pretty good. The flora and fauna of the property is varient and well maintained. If you want to run, brisk walk or just stroll amongst nature, then this is the place to go.

Krishnendu Bairagi

Varieties of plant species are available here. You can find many varieties within a same genus. People who love plant and who love gardening are interested to come here. Although there is less available busses for communication.

Lovely place to spend a day amidst plants and flowers and greenery. You will get fresh oxygen in the heart of the city. You will really enjoy it if you are plant lover. Morning walks here is amazing for those who stay nearby. The famous flower show did not take place due to covid this year. But it is open now and we spent a beautiful day with family here.

If you are a plant lover and curious its a perfect place to feed your heart. It houses a massive collection of plants and flowers. It has a significant collection of botanical varieties, including Cannas for which it has a long and distinguished tradition, with facilities for gardeners and plant/flower lovers. Courses on gardening and cultivation of certain species are offered to the general public from time to time. Its very big.

This is the place for you to visit..I recommend everyone to visit it earlier in the morning because at that time you can feel the depth of silence , serenity of green and the birds chirping around you. You will have no idea how your time will be spent if you will be devoted in nature,you will be amazed ..But I request you all to save this place, be responsible

Entry restricted to Annual Members, Life Members and Guest with Guest Charges are allowed. One can find various species of plants and trees. Good place for Bio Science students to study. Also very good place for Morning and evening walkers with natural green and fresh air amid pollution outside.
