If you want to purchase fish on a large scale then this place can be sought. From 6 p.m. at the evening, shipping boats will land to this place and auction will be done to sell them. But be sure that you know the prices of fishes so that you can participate nicely in the auction or else you will be Tricked. Yesterday I saw kerachoora fish being sold at Rs 130 per kilo and also at Rs 105/kilo. The second person knew well to participate in an auction while the first one was having no good knowledge about the market prices of the fish. So be sure that you won't have to face a serious loss.

Fishes are overpriced. If you don't bargain they will force you to buy fish at their price. Even though the price is not that affordable the fish is fresh and neat. They priced 500 rupees for a tuna ( karutha choora) and fish was barely 3 kg .
This is a place to remember ofcourse as all over India when there is Covid -19 Scaring peoples mind .Here at the auction u would see housewives and Sisters from nearby church buying fish from auction.Bussiness as usall for fisherman. It teaches u that life is for people who break all deadlock And make the living out without being scared of death Who else better to understand someone who spent half there life in Ocean current .
Fresh fish sold through public auction. Good deal
Ideal place for buying fresh fish. Open bidding system. Fish taken from the boats are displayed in a weighing machine and bidding takes place throughout. Paid cleaning & cutting service available outside. Many retail vendors are also selling fish.
I haven't spent time in beach but I was very much interested in viewing that place
Bloody fools. They didn't allow us to even have a look inside..... Even though we followed and obeyed all precautions of covid19 protocol.
Best fresh fish in town. Hooked fish are mostly alive when brought to shore. Easy auction process.
