Stayed here 3 times in last 20 years. Always great. Excellent location. Some of the best snorkeling and surfing is just across the street. Shaved ice shack has snacks. Excellent restaurant The BEACH HOUSE is also across the street. There are lots of Turtles eating the sea grass daily. I will be back again.

I stayed here with a friend who had traded his timeshare for a week here. This is a beautiful property. While not on the ocean, it's as close as you can get with a road in between. The property is very well-maintained. We had a screen pop out and someone came by to fix it 5 minutes after our call! There are three buildings, each with their own pool, hot tub, grills and sunning area. We were in the center one. The units are very spacious. We were in a one bedroom. A very large, well-equipped kitchen open to a large living room. The lanai/balcony was very nice, with a table, 4 chairs and a lounge chair. There is a fitness facility and minature golf course on top of the adjacent parking garage. It was also well-equipped although every other piece of equipment was taped off due to covid. There is an outdoor collection of shops restaurants, drug store, etc. about a 15 minute walk away. The other way, also about 20 minutes, is the Spouting Horn rock formation. In short, it's a lovely place and I'd go back in a second if I get invited again!

I'm sure the resort is great (saw lots of people lounging by the pool), but we visited the small beach area across the street. There is excellent snorkeling! Lots of fun fishies to see. The water is pretty clear when you're 40 feet offshore. Some pretty good waves for surfers under the right conditions.

Comfortable, clean, great view, nice pools. No winds that directly hits the lanai. Great place to stay!

This was my 2nd visit and there will be more. Beautiful location, many opportunities for a variety of activities from swimming ti fine dining within walking distance. So many beautiful walks to take to the nearby blowhole or to an inlet that you can spy sea turtles at. There is even a shave ice/ snack hut right on the property. We walked to the Blue fish cafe for coffee twice. Worth the walk. Dinner at The Beach House topped off our stay beautifully.

Next to a small beach. The room that we got has 2 bedrooms and a pull out sofa, kitchen, 2 baths and 3 TV. Good place.

This is the place to stay on Kauai. We used RCI points to reserve a week at Lawai Beach Resort and had an incredible week. Despite being a somewhat older resort, the property is well maintained and the staff are detail oriented. Our 2-bedroom unit was spacious and had an expansive view of the ocean. The kitchen included every accessory one could need to cook, including hard-to-find appliances like a rice cooker and coffee grinder. The central location of the resort allowed us to explore all sides of the island with ease, but the true highlight was the fact that the BEST winter snorkeling beach on the island was literally 50 feet from the resort. Every afternoon, we would hop into the ocean and witness 5 sea turtles feeding in the sea grass. We can’t wait to return!
