Went there some weeks ago because of great reviews on the siham curry mee but the cockles were strange: overcooked and seems stale so we dare not eat after one or two. Food was pricey and service was surly so we will not be back.

When I saw so many people went to RTP for curry mee, I also do not want to be left out. Wanting to do recce myself to see if it is as good as it sounds, I made a plan with a car kaki of mine to have breakfast together one Saturday morning. We met at the kopitiam around 7.45am and quickly surveyed around to see which to order. In the end we settled for the most talked about curry noodle. He went for regular curry mee hoon while I opted to omit the carbs and instead went for the ingredients and extra bean sprouts. My verdict? The curry broth was aromatic but it seemed to lack something - don't get me wrong it was quite good, probably one of the better ones but I can't help but to think that it could be better. However, I super duper love the siew yuk aka roasted pork belly - crispy skin with lovely smoky aroma.. I'll ask for extra next time. The other grouse was the absence of cockles. The kopi/teh was respectable... After catching up for more than an hour, it was time for us to leave. It was getting hot & stuffy as the sun came up. Perhaps they should improve on the ventilation too. I reckon that it would be worse during noon time.
Curry Mee here offers delectable additional 'See Hum' or 'Cockles'
Parking was okay but not sure when it is during peak hours. Shop is properly ventilated too so it's not too hot for a kopitiam. I personally do not like the food there.
Curry mee is good, prawn mee is just a level lower but still good. Hv yet to try the other stuff
Nice curry noodle I try prawn and curry noodles.. a good combination..
Had the worst tasting currymee. Doesn't look like curry mee. Taste horrible. Coffee and cham tasteless. Won't recommend this place
The Beef Kolo Mee is actually not bad, only needs to improve on the meat & veggie portion size. The Teh Ice is also just alright, it is just a little watered down
