Great service provided by the charter company as I have never experienced in 30 years of boat charter. Perfect from the welcome Uso on board to quick final checkout. Actually, 10 stars should be given. Friendly, attentive, professional, fast. Here sailors work for sailors. Otherwise this unique performance cannot be explained. Thank you for making our holiday so complete.
Very friendly personell. Nice Skipper. We had a one Day trip with Catamaran Tamiro, a Lagoon 450. Very nice and large ship. Good for up to 8 people.
Great service and great people! From the check-in, welcome bottle of Ouzo, free outboarder with full tank, to the great help with mooring the boat in the marina at the end and quick and fair check-out. I would give 4.5 if allowed. The reason is that the boat (Hanse 370 Marathi) could be in better condition. The sails were bit old and baggy, the speed log didn't work, the wind direction gauge showed wind speed only (at least) and the anchor chain was getting tangled inside the chain well (probably problem of the manufacturer's design). On the other hand the handling overall was good, the engine worked perfectly and the service battery was a good one (it kept power for 3 days without charging (except approx. 30mins of running engine a day) with fridge on and common power usage (anchor light, cabin lights...) ! All in all I would strongly recommend Istion (Kos base, hence no other Istion bases experience) as a charter company and would be happy to charter a boat from them again! Great job folks!
