Great marina with all types of boats etc. Many little side streets packed with various small shops. Greek People very helpful. First visit to Kos but will be back. Fantastic island.
Lovely place to visit plenty of shops bars and places to eat all with great staff ready to help and no hard sell like plenty of other resorts abroad a special shout out to the Ambrosia restaurant for good quality food and staff if going try and find the old narrow streets with some good shops to visit from the usual holiday souvenirs to the quaint and quirky like the shop selling hand made souvenirs of beautiful chess board and chess pieces to hand made tables and kitchen tools Don't forget to take a bit of change to drop in the collection box at the cat park
Beautiful ruins jus as u arrive
The town has a nice atmosphere with plenty of places to eat and little cobbled streets to explore. The historical sites add to the interest and the marina has many boats moored there for day cruises to Bodrum and neighbouring islands.
Lovely people, Lovely view, great food. We had a great time here!!
I highly recommend not to come to Kos for sightseeing. Beside maybe the beaches do not expect anything else.
Go get lost in the old town Kos. Before getting lost in and around the old town Kos I recommend what I have done. Hope on one of the mini train services that trolls you around the old town. A time sencronized recording plays as you ride around town. This gives you a good unders of your whereabouts. Familiarized with the town go discover in depth on foot. Highly recommended approach. Time well spent. Go to the local restaurant I found for cheap quality Greek food far from the torustic crowd! Loved it :)
