Dropped pin is road cross, not the cave itself. If you are good driver, you can leave your car here. Yet the road is stiff and rocky. Still better to go here by car as it is more than hour walk from a main street. From this point you have to take 10 to 15 minutes walk/climb to the actual cave. We did that wearing flip flops, yet I would not recommend. I was so surprised how well preserved the cave is as the place has not been discovered by the tourists, yet. If you are not sure, see my video showings the path and cave itself.

Yea great little hike to get up and personal with it , beautiful views all round even the drive up was good
Not yet discovered by the masses, so you’ll need to explore a bit to find it. Head up the small foot trail to the left when coming from the main road. There is a small blue sign at the beginning of the trail, but the sign is in bad shape and was actually laying on the ground when we got there. After you climb for a few minutes, you’ll see a large natural stone arch. Just to the left of that is the actual cave.. It’s recommended to leave the car at the main road unless it’s well-equipped for off-road. My girlfriend did it in Flipflops, but sturdy shoes are recommended.
First, if you can, go to the archeology museum in Kos to see all the artefacts recovered from the cave. Beautiful views as you ascend. It is easy imagine living in a cave like this, I think.
Slightly demanding uphill hike, ending at a spot with a nice landscape view.
Secret hiking open on the sea, for the curious and beaches addict it can give you ideas of exploration
Track is good, you need a 4x4 to reach the start our you have to walk a bit further to start from the main road
Dogger nowt there
