A beautiful church built in the heart of Kottayam town. It is one of the largest churches of the CSI church in Kerala that announces the glory of Gothic architecture. This church was built under the supervision of Rev. Benjamin Bailey DD (1791-1851), who established the first printing press of Kerala in Kottayam.

Calm and serene place right in the middle of a bustling town. You get that divine peace on entering the cathedral premises. Stunning architecture of a bygone era. Good acoustics inside the cathedral. This makes the choir sound ethereal. The cathedral has its own parish hall and auditorium near by. And more than enough parking space present with lots of trees.
