I lived in this hostel during the academic year 2018-2019 for IIT REPEATERS COURSE. The hostel provides the best study ambience. Surrounded by trees and provides a calm atmosphere for character developing and focussing on study. The place is free from the sounds of vehicle in the highway. THE BEST FOOD in Brilliants Hostel. We had three warden who where so helpful and give needed advices for us. They care us a lot and we are able to say any urgent needs to them. A Chapel is present in the upper block of the hostel with daily HOLY MASS by Fr.Somi Kootiyanickal,our spiritual leader. LIBRARY Facility is available,so students please dont bring any of your reference books because everything is here and the if you need any books inform the warden and it will be bought. STUDY HALL facility is also available. THE ONLY THING IS TO STUDY WELL......,,,,

It's the first and best hostel i have ever stayed in my life. We were the first batch of brilliant students to stay there after brilliant bought the hostel, i stayed during 2012 to 2013, when I was attending entrance coaching at brilliant Pala. We stayed there as part of the IIT batches. The hostel is well maintained and it is situated at Kummannor , away from the noise of the city. Hence it is the perfect place to study, it has a really peaceful and calm atmosphere. There were a lot of trees and greenery giving the place a really cool atmposphere. Even though the brilliant wardens were strict, we had a priest there to overlook everything and he was really nice. There was also a chapel inside the hostel for the christian students and we had daily mass and rosary here. There was also a temple nearby for the Hindu students. The food here was fantastic while we stayed with Tony chettan who was the main chef who cooked really well, especially the biriyani. We also had a place to wash our dresses and dry them in the main building. We also had a really good library by brilliant with a lot of good books.If we had to shop anything or buy stuff, we had a small shop at the kummannor bus stop or we had to go to pala town. The one year I stayed here was the best year of my life and my admission at NIT Calicut and the job i have now , i owe a lot of it to this hostel.
Best hostel ever seen in my life
This waa a priests home, some 8 years back.Now the authorities shifted the priests home to a more convenient place close to the town. At present the building is used as a boarding home for boys preparing entrance exam.The coaching centre is about 4 ks from the hostel.
This hostal is situating nearest kummannoor junction mandhiram junction.From there just 50 mtrs inside.commenly brilliant institution are using as a boys hostal.
