One of my favourite places in Lanta, so quiet and colourful. I loved to see Saychon working on his fabrics and useless to say that I also bought most of the "souvenirs" for my family in his little shop :)
Wow!! Such great craftsmanship and customer service. Skip the souvenir shops in Sa La Dan and buy a beautiful tie dye here :)
We had a fabulous morning learning batik skills, making sarongs, chatting and enjoying a lovely home-cooked lunch. Khun Saychon is good humoured, kind and helpful. We left very happy!

Saychon is a very kind and skilled craftsman. It’s possible to book either 1-2 hrs or a half day with him learning the craft of batik making. Find him on Facebook and contact via Facebook messenger.
I liked his creative ideas Each batik cloth is unique. Saychon painted every pattern by himself. He always creates new designs including manta ray, one of the highlights of Koh Lanta. He and his team can organise work shops for group visitors. Ci siamo fermati vedendo sventolare dei teli colorati bellissimi. Abbiamo conosciuto l'artista che dipinge sui teli. Una persona molto simpatica con una vena artistica non indifferente. Tanto erano belli da acquistarli tutti. Ne abbiamo acquistati alcuni, ma per la qualità e la finezza dei disegni valgono molto di più del loro costo.
