Aaaaaaaamazing place! Smashing! I'm so amazed! The best cheese vegan burger I ever had! I ate in the best restaurants in the world and this is just unbelievably good! We came from london and this is just absolutely stunning!

Small vegan place with cool atmosphere, friendly staff, not far from the centre of Krakow. Great miso soup and really good burgers. Homemade lemonades and compots, small beer breweries and so. Great value for money. Recommended.

Love that Nova Krova means 'New Cow' in Polish and in the case of this vegan restaurant, no cow! No cows are harmed when I eat here, hurrah! Offer me a Gluten Free Falafel Burger with hummus, a green salad and a banana & peanut butter smoothie & yes, I'm happy. Filling & flavoursome & well priced. However I also need my food to be strictly gluten free. Nova Krova does offer gluten free food and I am confident that when I have eaten there it has been prepared properly. For fellow coeliacs there are some caveats. First is that the food preparation is tiny, there is a single toaster oven & there are gluten containing buns in constant use. Therefore it is *essential* that your food prepper is extremely diligent about managing the cross-contamination. This can be done by use of tin foil covering on the toaster & the same plus a clean knife for the cutting surface. On my first visit my server proposed this without any prompting and on my second, I asked for this and it was done. The second caveat and suggestion for Nova Krova to improve is the gluten free status of the salads. The front of house staff have on both my visits been unsure about which salads are gluten free and which are not and have needed to check. Checking is good, but knowing already is far better. None of the salads appear to need any gluten ingredients - like wheat couscous - so I'd suggest just making a minor adjustment to make them all fully gluten free. Replace with quinoa or buckwheat. Another suggestion - go fully gluten free! Sub out the regular burger buns & the seitan and this place could easily go 100% GF and become one of, I think, just 1 or 2 other such places in Krakow. Do it Nova Krova, no cows, no gluten!

Lovely vegan restaurant in the middle of kazamierz (Jewish quarter). The food is delicious! Bit of a confusing ordering process if you don't know the language and it's your first time there; you have to pick the burger you'd like then pick your bun and sauces, this seems very common practice in all the vegan places ive been to in Poland, just ask for an English\u200b menu and they're happy to help. Burgers are around 13-18 zloty which is about 3-4.50!! Burgers are also big and can come with veg fries for 4 zloty. Fries are 5 zloty if ordered without the burger. The food and drinks are quite healthy, the drinks are fruit/veg juices. Also vegan cakes on offer too. I had a chocolate and walnut cake that was amazing- the buttercream was beautiful! I also had a strawberry cake to take away. Both cakes were 11 zloty (just under 2.50). Would definitely go again if i was in the area.
