Arrived after checking prices online to complete booking. Price offered to me me was double of what was showing online. Apparently 30% partner discount was applied which would make the price more than double! After questioning it and mentioning that I can just complete my booking online the serving person got very rude and aggressive. I guess they work on commission trying to sell most expensive insurance etc I said I would like to book online instead to take advantage of cheaper price. The guy said I will have to wait until they have the same car available as it’s not in stock and they won’t offer me alternative, now that I know. I said that I’ll do it under my hisbands name as he doeasnt understand polish, in which like a child he started speaking in English saying this car is not available. Very rude, immature and unprofessional. I had to take uber and rent my car from the airport instead.

AVOID this location if possible. I've been to many different Avis locations globally, and all have been great EXCEPT for this one. I've made many reservations with this Avis over the last few years (because of it's convenient location from my apartment), and it is disappointing every time. The customer service is very bad - even by Krakow standards, it's really terrible. Expect a frown and a negative attitude from the customer service person immediately when you walk in. Also, even if you have prepaid for the car and you're the only customer at this office, it may take at least 15-20 minutes for the customer service reps to figure out how to operate the internal systems and hand you the keys; often times, there is apparently some IT issue that they cannot resolve. Additionally, make sure you read through the contract before leaving the parking lot; I've had the customer service person 'mistakenly' add charges to my reservation that I specifically opted out of (such as having Avis fuel the car). Lastly, this goes without saying.. but make sure to check the vehicle for any minor damages before leaving the parking lot. If you find something wrong, you will have to go back into the building and face the bad customer service again (sorry)

I normally use Avis as they are normally reputable firm, but the Krakow branch seems to be an exception. First they charge an 18% local fee (on top of the 23% Polish VAT) and then try it on by adding comprehensive and personal insurance which costs close to an extra US80 a day. Even after I declined these extras they have charged the additional amounts on my credit card! Post script: I completed and paid for the rental, they continue to charge almost 1000 which they claimed was a deposit, but it is still a \pending\ charge on my credit card 3 weeks after I returned the car. I am now having to threaten them to dispute the transaction with the credit card company to get them to remove it. Worst rental experience to date - to be avoided.

Good prices and the option to both deliver and pick up your rental car within the city. Car was very well kept when we got it. Easy drop off situation as well for late night returns near the Krakow train station.

Terrible experience. Refused rental after booking online and having all the necessary documentation including passport, credit card, my canadian drivers license and presenting an international drivers permit which is more than redundant, especially when purchasing multiple insurance policies. Clerk proceeded to tell me he couldn't give me the rental because I don't have a polish drivers licence. I've never had this issue before and was curious to eventually find out that this was complete nonsense on his part. I was able to make alternative arrangements with another reputable dealer. Don't go here if your a foreign traveler renting a car. Rude, condescending but most importantly miss-informed!
